Mini Cindy keychain. Much easier to carry than the actual Cindy.
The Give Team is proud to work with Earl Granville to provide a replica of Cindy the Cinder Block as a reminder of Cindy's message: EVERYONE has heavy burdens to carry in life, and NOBODY should have to carry their burden alone.
In 2008 Earl was the sole survivor of a roadside bomb in Afghanistan where he lost his left leg and two buddies, Spc. Derek Holland and Maj. Scott Hagerty. Two years later Earl lost his twin brother, SSG Joe Granville, to suicide. Earl fought through recovery from his own injuries, and struggled with the loss of his brother. It was in that stage of recovery when Earl realized the importance of challenging himself. Soon after, he came across Cindy during the final strench of an obstacle course race. Cindy has since played an important role in Earl's message: we're all in this together, it's important to challenge ourselves by staying on the move, and it's important for us to fight the good fight.
The Give Team uses Cindy to find challenges through pain every week during team workouts. After all, it's the pain we seek that strengthens us, preparing us for the pain life inevitably throws our way.
Proceeds from the sale of the Cindy keychains support The Give Team, The Oscar Mike Foundation and Operation Enduring Warrior programs.
